Send your pricing
Before you send any prices or before you log in to DTN Fuel Seller for the day, upload your costs. The Pricing Console helps you compare proposed price change to your strategies and goals, change prices as needed, and approve price changes for publishing.
-
From the DTN Fuel Seller dashboard, click Pricing Console.
-
Select the appropriate search filters (terminal, product, and channel) to show the products.
If you’re sending intraday prices, use Set Override for date and time.
-
Make a price change by selecting one of the following from Global Changes:
-
Set Rack Pos Adj – changes the price rule change to match what you have entered.
-
Set Override – adjusts your current price, +/-, the adjustments in the corresponding field.
-
Click Approve Prices. The Approve Prices window appears.
This doesn’t publish your prices. Review your prices before publishing them.
-
Select one of the following:
-
If you have more prices to enter, select Move to Next and the appropriate price group from the drop-down menu. Then repeat steps 2 and 3 until completed.
-
If you have completed all your prices, select Publish Daily Prices or Publish Intraday Prices.
Publish Intraday Prices can only be used if the prices are being sent for an effective time other than the default time.
-
Click Approve Prices.
-
Select Publish. The Publishing Console appears.
This process is the only way to access the Publishing Console.
-
Using the search filters, search for the publishing group you wish to publish.
-
Click Filter. Verify your results.
This is an important step when sending end-of-day or intraday pricing. You can’t remove your prices once they have been published, and you can only publish prices for a specific time once a day.
-
Click Publish.
If you decide not to publish your prices, go back to the Pricing Console and reset your prices for each group; otherwise, you may unintentionally publish prices.
