You can create price formula by applying an adjustment to the posted rack price from a designated supplier for a product or group of products. The system will use the posted rack price for the selected supplier/product combination as the basis for the contract price. Whenever a new posted rack price for the original supplier/product combination is received, DTN Fuel Buyer will automatically adjust your formula price.
If you want, you can specify an adjustment amount to be added to or subtracted from the posted rack price in order to create your contract price. You can create a formula price based on any supplier price you want, and make it available at the terminals you designate. Your new formula price will be available for those suppliers and terminals through the Price Analysis and Best Rack screen.
