The Advanced Price Formula screen lets you set up a price based on a DTN FastRacks Index.

NOTE:You must be a DTN FastRacks subscriber in order to use this feature. You must also be authorized to receive DTN FastRacks prices at the market city for the terminal you wish to lift product.

You begin by selecting the DTN FastRacks index you want for the base price. The base price can come from the following:

  • AM Branded Rack Avg Gross FastRacks Index

  • AM Rack Average Gross FastRacks Index

  • AM Rack Average Net FastRacks Index

  • AM Rack Low Gross FastRacks Index

  • AM Rack Low Net FastRacks Index

  • AM Unbranded Rack Avg Gross FastRacks Index

  • AM Unbranded Rack Avg Net FastRacks Index

  • AM Unbranded Rack Low Gross FastRacks Index

  • Contract Average

  • Contract Net Average

  • Daily Gross Rack Average

  • Daily Gross Branded Average

  • Daily Gross Branded High

  • Daily Gross Branded Low

  • Daily Gross Rack High

  • Daily Gross Rack Low

  • Daily Gross Unbranded Average

  • Daily Gross Unbranded High

  • Daily Gross Unbranded Low

  • Daily Net Branded Average

DTN FastRacks Contract averages are snapshot prices locked in at 6:00 AM each day. The FastRacks Thursday Published Average is set each Thursday. When the associated DTN FastRacks index updates, your price formula will be automatically updated.

AM Price Index are also locked in at 6:00 am each day

All Daily Gross/Net items are live.  This is the price at the time you select it.

OM Price Index is locked in at 6:03 pm CT. Uses the previous day price until the new one is available.

Next you will select the supplier and product or groups of products to which you want to associate the DTN FastRacks Index price. If desired, you can then apply an adjustment as a dollar amount or percentage. The adjustment amount can be an increase or decrease.

Finally, you will set an effective date and time, and assign the new price to the terminals you want.
