Adding a new terminal

If you want to add a new terminal to your DTN Fuel Seller, it’s best to add the new terminal 2 to 3 days before you begin pricing the product at the new terminal. This gives DTN time to activate the terminal for the systems that interact with your DTN Fuel Seller.

Here’s how to add a new terminal:

  1. From the DTN Fuel Seller dashboard, click Terminals Setup.

  2. Click Add new terminal.

  3. Select a terminal from the Select Terminal field. Enter the appropriate information in the remaining fields.

  4. Click Add.

Use the other Terminal Setup pages to change the terminals display order, assign the terminal to a group, and assign a supply source to the terminal.

Use Product Setup to assign a product / channel to a terminal.

Use Strategy Setup to assign a strategy and pricing rules / differentials to the terminal / product / channel. For an index target price, use Competitor Forecasts to define a spot correlation or move factor.

Use Price Publishing to assign the terminal / product / channel to a publishing group and to authorize customers to receive prices at the terminal.
